Zixi Chen is a pianist whose artistry has been recognized in major piano competitions and concert venues worldwide. He is currently based in Germany and works under the artistic guidance of Arie Vardi at the Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media.

His musical formation is rooted in the Heinrich Neuhaus pianistic tradition. He began his studies in 2010 with Minduo Li, the first Chinese inheritor of this lineage, and later continued his artistic development with Yunlin Yang at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Zixi Chen gained international prominence as a quarter-finalist of the 19th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. His competition successes also include top prizes at prestigious competitions such as Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition In Italy, the Asia-Pacific International Chopin Piano Competition, as well as international competitions in Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Beyond competitions, Zixi Chen has appeared as a soloist with symphony orchestras and has performe across Europe, Asia, and North America, including engagements in Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Korea, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His performances are distinguished by expressive depth, stylistic integrity, and a refined command of the piano’s sonic palette.
